Many people come here to vacation and it is a great lake for fishing and boating. The lake is known for its excellent fishing for muskie, smallmouth bass and walleye.

www.ultimatefishingsite.net Lake Erie is one of the top lakes in the world for catching walleye. Fishing is also very good for smallmouth bass and perch. Michigan gets just a small portion of Lake Erie, but it takes advantage of the lake big time. There are numerous fishing charters available. There are a few ports to fish out of and don’t forget about the Detroit River that is also nearby. During the spring, you have a good chance of landing a trophy walleye in the 8 to 10 pound class.
